ZOO Zlín, castle Lešná and the museums in Zlín

The picturesque zoo on the outskirts of Zlin, which was founded by Tomas Baťa, belongs among the most beautiful places in Moravia. Here you can see elephants, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, Asian tigers, bears and gibbons, Australian kangaroos, emu runners, but also the South American parrots, anteaters or llamas. Unique is the possibility to pet the stingrays and even fed them.

There is also a botanical garden, whose latest exhibition is a tropical hall Yucatan.

The youngest manor house in Moravia - castle Lešná – is also part of compound. Besides the beautiful preserved interiors you can find in the castle also works from ivory, ebony, teak and ancient Egyptian excavations. Worth of visiting is also the castle park old over 200 years.

Center of Zlín is also interesting. There are a lot of historical places with the castle Zlín. Museum lovers will appreciate the Museum of Southeast Moravia in Baťa Institute.

Decisively worth a tour as well is the Zlin skyscraper which includes a study of Baťa in the elevator and the Shoe Museum.
